About the Video

In this presentation, Dr. Berardi will review nutritional research highlighting the differences between specific fats, proteins and carbohydrates, showing how they differentially affect the body (body composition and metabolism). In the past, conventional nutritional wisdom stated that all calories were created equal and that most food choices are interchangable. This presentation will make a strong arguement refuting these dated and erroneous notions of food equality. In addition, he will provide strong empirical and anecdotal evidence for the fact that body composition and metabolic rate can be affected by total daily energy intake, macronutrient breakdown, and, importantly, the type of macronutrients you choose.
